TFDN is an independent software studio. Privacy isn't an afterthought for us — it's a design principle. We don't run advertising, and we don't embed third-party tracking SDKs in our products. This policy explains what limited data we handle and why.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is TFDN, a French micro-entreprise. You can reach us at any time at [email protected]. Full company details are on our legal notice.
This website
tfdn.app is a static informational website. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell or share visitor data.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are not used to identify you and are not combined with other data.
If you contact us
When you email [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to reply to you and keep the message no longer than necessary to handle your request.
Our applications
Our apps — including Arnage and Screen Steward — are built to be local-first. They keep your content on your own devices and servers, and collect only what is genuinely needed to function.
Some apps include anonymous diagnostics — crash reports and basic usage analytics — to help us fix bugs and understand which features matter. These are processed on our own self-hosted infrastructure (never sent to a third-party analytics provider), are tied only to a random installation identifier with no link to your identity, and can be switched off at any time in the app's privacy settings.
Some apps may also offer an optional connected account (for example, to link a parent and child device). Each app carries its own detailed privacy policy describing exactly what it collects and why:
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not show advertising or embed advertising trackers.
- We do not send your data to third-party analytics providers, ad networks, or data brokers — any diagnostics we collect stay on our own infrastructure.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products evolve. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version always lives at this address.
